SF Recruitment are delighted to be retained by a growing subsidiary of a PLC business in Stoke on Trent who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager. Supporting the directors and management with monthly analysis of the P&L, contract performance, and KPI's to help make business decisions you will ideally come from a manufacturing background .
This is a hands on role where you will be business partnering with colleagues in operations to help give you a full understanding of the process and costings and monthly Stock takes and be able to present financial information to non finance staff.
You could be Part or Fully qualified CIMA,ACCA,AAT Qualified with at least 2 years' experience within a Management Accountant role from a Manufacturing background. You will be within an expanding company which offers the job security and prospects associated with being part of a well-established Global Group.
Role:
- Responsible for maintaining & updating the standard cost model for various contracts within the business
- Prepare reports on contract performance, including forecasting the end results, explaining over/(under) spends, both actual and forecast.
- Monthly reporting of P&L results with variance analysis and commentary.
- Balance sheet reviews / analysis
- Budgeting / forecasting
- Monthly stock take reconciliations
- Assisting with the year-end audit
- Preparing ad hoc analysis for management
- Preparation of the accounts of a foreign subsidiary company and their performance
Requirements:
- Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant
- Experience within manufacturing
- Good Excel Skills
