Part Time Finance Manager required for a 44 bed centre for the elderly based outside Stroud, GL6, working between 25 - 30 hours per week, salary up to £30,000, depending on hours worked, 33 days holiday, contributory pension scheme from day one, freshly prepared lunches available, office based, occasional working from home will be considered

The Centre was opened in the 1980's and has built a strong reputation for delivering outstanding care for both the physically infirm and those living with dementia and severe memory problems. The centre is built with the aim of making the transition in to care as easy as possible for the residents and their families and has a strong workforce of 150 people all pulling together to ensure the aims of the centre are upheld.

They are now looking to appoint an PT Finance Manager to manage their finances. This is a brand new role so you will have the opportunity to shape the role and make it your own. Your duties will be as follows:

- advising the Operations Director on all aspects of financial performance

- ensuring all appropriate financial controls are in place and effective

- working with the Treasurer to complete year end statutory accounts

- carry out audits to ensure full compliance with the Charities Commission

- maintain the integrity and reliability of all IT systems

- invoicing and debtor management

- maintain fixed asset register

- ideally ACCA qualified

- experience of managing small teams of people would be useful

- ability and willingness to work across and support different areas of the business

- flexible approach to work

- caring and compassionate attitude towards people
