We are looking for a part-time, fixed-term Accounts Payable - Project Backfill to join our Corporate Services directorate.

Mōu | About the role

The key purpose of this role is to provide backfill support to the incumbent whilst they are involved with the implementation of the new finance system. Confidentiality is extremely important and you would be comfortable working autonomously with the goal of being committed to getting the job done. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork required to support and work closely with the rest of the Financial Services team.

This position is part-time at 20 hours per week and fixed-term for 12 months.

We like to set people up for success so you'll be a leading applicant if you also have:
  • a relevant qualification (preferably tertiary) and experience
  • excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • technology competence, including confidence and willingness to learn new computer systems and processes
  • attention to detail and the desire to get things right first time
  • an inquisitive mind that is focused on on-going business and process improvement
  • excellent time management skills
  • enthusiasm, initiative and a can-do attitude

You will be someone with demonstrable experience, particularly in accounts payable. You will have a meticulous approach to financial matters and an ability to multi-task and operate at both strategic and operational levels. You may be looking to take the next step-up in your career. Great teamwork skills is essential as a key to their success is everyone working closely and supporting each other.
