Kale & Damson is a fresh produce supplier based just outside of Cambridge, offering high quality produce to pubs, restaurants, hotels schools and colleges both in the local area and beyond.

Due to a period of growth, we are now looking for an Accounts Manager to join our team. You will be based in our office in Papworth Everard, reporting to the Head of Finance. This is a great time to join us and make the role your own.

Key Duties and

responsibilities:


Producing management accounts

Monthly account preparation

Month end procedures and reports

Credit control and credit monitoring

Sales and purchase ledger input and reconciliation

Bank / Cash reconciliation

Reconcile balance sheet accounts for monthly review (prepayments, accruals, control accounts)

Assist with Budgetary Process

VAT returns

Requirements for the role:

AAT qualified or Part qualified CIMA or ACCA

Excellent excel skills

Team player and willingness to help in other area of a growing business

Minimum 5 years accounting experience

Strong communication skills and ability to manage others

This is a Monday-Friday role with a salary of £28K £35K depending on experience.
