Stonegate Group is the UK’s biggest Pub Group with over 3,000 sites nationally. We’re recruiting for a Commercial Business Partner (Pricing). The purpose of the role is to support the commercial and financial assessment of pricing, promotional and ranging activities. The role also includes detailed pricing and scenario modelling, in turn contributing to key business decisions. Additional remit includes analysis and reporting on the viability and profitability of product and site level pricing and menu changes.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • The ideal candidate is commercial focused and analytically minded.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in Commercial / Pricing roles is essential.


Key Skills:
  • Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of EPOS data or other Business Intelligence applications is essential. The candidate needs to be IT literate and have strong Excel skills.
  • Experience of using Power Bi is desirable and SQL is advantageous.
  • Capable of interpreting and presenting financial information to different audiences both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships in order to effectively business partner key stakeholders.
  • Show initiative, be capable of problem solving and offer solutions.
  • Good organisation and time management skills are essential to this role.
  • Desire to ‘get the job done’, certain time periods may be busier than others.




Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering the Marketing and Operations teams and management of a Stonegate brand / format.
  • Price Setting / Analysis – Brand, Site and Product level
  • Using data and analysis to provide performance insight into Stonegate formats
  • Promotional Modelling and Analysis
  • Site Analysis
