The Role

The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to provide efficient and high-quality support to the EM Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and CTP Leadership Team (LT) to ensure effective day to day operations of the EM and the CTP business unit (BU) as a whole.

The Assistant is expected to exercise a level of confidentiality and judgment whilst undertaking a number of concurrent tasks demonstrating excellent organisational, prioritisation, time and stakeholder management skills which are critical to this position

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficient and proactive diary management; working directly with the EM to support all aspects of their daily work routine, and exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs
  • Organise and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
  • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of EM and/or CTP Leadership Team.
  • Determine priority of matters of attention for the EM, redirect matters to CTPLT/delegates to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate
  • Provide general administrative support for the EM, including coordinate travel arrangements, reviewing and allocating corporate expenses, managing supplier purchase orders and invoices etc.
  • Event Management and wider team administrative support when needed.
  • Effectively manage key internal and external stakeholders with exemplary corporate etiquette, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism


Skills & Experience
  • A detail-oriented self-starter with prior experience in the financial services industry (insurance industry a plus)
  • Exhibits sound judgment with the ability to prioritise and make decisions
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives and external regulators
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
