About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant within the B&D Group. This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week. The office is based in Hornby, Christchurch and we offer very flexible working options.

In this role, you will be responsible to manage the Accounts Payable ledger and all suppliers are paid within agreed terms

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices & manage supplier payment runs
  • Manage Ad-Hoc & Forex payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Manage new supplier requests
  • Prepare month end accruals
  • Prepare month end accounts payable reconciliation
  • Provide administration support across different areas of the business

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer
  • Excellent attention to detail
