At the Heart Foundation, we are driven by our purpose - to stop all people in New Zealand dying prematurely from heart disease and enable people with heart disease to live full lives. The delivery of prevention and care and support programmes in New Zealand communities and fundraising for life-saving heart research describes the diverse work of our team of approximately 130 people across New Zealand.

This new role is part of the Marketing and Communications team responsible for generating Heart Foundation brand awareness, relevance and engagement by creating and implementing strategic marketing and communications initiatives.

What you will be doing:

Our ideal candidate will have:
  • a tertiary qualification with a relevant degree, e.g., Digital Communications
  • proven experience working in a relevant environment i.e., marketing, technology, or agency
  • technical experience in digital media, best practice on-site tracking, web analytics and analysis tools
  • working knowledge of UX and a user-first approach
  • highly proficient with Google products
  • proven ability to understand business objectives
  • excellent relationship management skills and ability to collaborate and influence internal stakeholders
  • previous experience with website content management systems would be an advantage

In return we can offer:
  • a job with purpose and competitive salary
  • flexible working arrangements to enable you to achieve work/life balance
  • an additional paid day off each year for Heart Foundation Day
  • 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) once you've achieved 2 years' service
  • training and development opportunities
  • access to our Wellbeing platform
  • discounted health insurance
