Our client, a national manufacturing company, is currently looking for a costing expertise to take up this 3 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Project Manager and Financial Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and reporting multiple project control spreadsheets to ensure accurate project data is available to the business. Tracking project financial data and reporting this within standard contract status reports.

The Person:

• Degree in Finance or Business qualification or equivalent.
• Min 3 years' working experience in similar position.

The Job:

• Monitor performance against budget (expense, control, variances, etc.).
• Initiate request for Capex/disposal/ transfers.
• Participate in the audit process.
• Protect company assets (working capital & fixed assets).
• Detect and prevent fraud.
• Promote good corporate governance.
• Use project control tools and spreadsheets to monitor project costs.
• Plan, cost collection, and performance measurement on projects.
• Project accounting-project status that shows overall movement of forecasts and use of contingencies within the period and project.
• Cost scope or the project - manageable units, work breakdown structures, control accounts and packages.
• Develop time-phased schedules.
• Level resource demand to meet project capacity.
• Plan and schedule costs.
• Identify, assess, allocate and manage all project risk and project opportunity.
