We are looking for a high performing Manager to join our Treasury Finance team within our Financial Management Group.

Group Treasury activities are central to the firm and by supporting this division, you will have exposure on how the Treasury function provide funding and liquidity to our various operating groups across the business. With a global lens, you will partner with teams across the Financial Management Group, including Group Treasury, Business Unit Financial Control, Tax, Group Regulatory and Financial Reporting.

More specifically, as a Manager within the Treasury Financial Control team your responsibilities may include:
  • Advising on key drivers impacting Balance Sheet and P&L Reporting
  • Management and reporting analysis of FX exposures
  • Owning strategic projects on transformation and automation creating opportunity for process improvement and efficiencies
  • Advising on accounting and reporting for new Treasury products and complex transactions, as well as partnering with the business to translate and communicate complex accounting topics to our stakeholders
  • Preparation and review of quarterly, half-yearly and yearly submissions which contribute to external Financial, Statutory and Regulatory Reporting requirements
  • Management and reporting analysis of FX exposures
  • Providing support and coaching to more junior staff members within the team

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA), ideally with experience in a financial control or reporting team with a Big 4 Chartered Accountancy firm and/or a large, complex organisation. We are looking for someone who is:
  • Quick to learn and adapt, has capacity to think outside the box to challenge processes and achieve better outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills - demonstrates strong stakeholder management skills, is a clear communicator with the ability to translate messaging to a variety of audiences and is collaborative in their approach
  • Attention to detail, but equally shows the ability to identify and focus on the key risks and issues
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, transactions and stakeholders
  • Prior experience in the application of IFRS or accounting standards to complex situations and structures in an advisory, commercial or financial reporting capacity would be beneficial
