About the role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday 7.30am-5.30pm (this can be slightly flexible) and every forth Saturday morning from 8.30am-12.30pm with paid overtime. This pivotal role plays an integral part in maximising sales opportunities, exceeding monthly targets and building long-term customer relationships.
You will be responsible for liaising with customers, understanding their needs and providing professional solutions, receiving and quoting on large orders, ordering products to specific time frames for their projects and communicating delivery times and availability of products where required. A lot of scheduling and pulling together of information is required, whilst keeping up to date with the latest plumbing/bathroom trends and improving your product knowledge. Whilst you won't have any direct reports as such, you will be leading and coaching a small team on a day to day basis. This role would suit someone who is ready for that next step up towards a management position.
You will be juggling a number of tasks at any one time, along with problem solving, whilst ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently. To do this, you will need to think quickly on your feet, be extremely well organised and able to prioritise, be service-driven and solution-oriented. Your leadership qualities, time management skills and, above all, customer service expertise will be paramount.
What you will bring:
To shine in this role, you'll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength and you'll be IT savvy too. Trade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, but your attitude, personality and keen interest in our industry is what really matters.
You will be an engaging and adaptable individual, able to build rapport and effectively communicate at all levels, whilst being customer-centric and an awesome team player.
