Junior Accountant - hybrid work schedule

CFS has partnered with a growing real estate/property management firm located in Stamford, CT - they are looking for a Junior Accountant join their team immediately. With a steady increase in revenue, this company has a stable business structure that values the community and residents that live there. The Junior Accountant would have the opportunity to work on a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office and 2 from home, with the hours of 9-5, Monday through Friday.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for updating and creating schedules
• Journal entries
• Pre paid real estate taxes and insurance
• Submittal of invoices to investors or lenders
• Cash file updating
• Accruals received from property managers

What we need to see:

• Bachelor's in accounting or a related field
• minimum of 2+ years of experience in a corporate setting
• Real estate/property experience would be a plus!
• Strong technical skills including experience utilizing Excel
