Jefferson Wells is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant with strong Accounts Receivable experience to deep dive into a debits and credits clean-up project with an industry leading Aerospace manufacturer. This A/R professional will be responsible for researching issues, providing process and procedure improvement recommendations, creating a master tacking sheet, managing communications, and assisting in resolving balance discrepancies. The role will be 100% remote following initial onsite meetings.

Jefferson Wells is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant with strong Accounts Receivable experience to deep dive into a debits and credits clean-up project with an industry leading Aerospace manufacturer. This A/R professional will be responsible for researching issues, providing process and procedure improvement recommendations, creating a master tacking sheet, managing communications, and assisting in resolving balance discrepancies. The role will be 100% remote following initial onsite meetings.
RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
- Assist project team in researching precise contracts, specific client requirement and, aging credit and debit memo issues
- Assist in creating and implementing process and procedure improvements for debit and credit memos
- Manage project communication and provide updates 2 to 3 times per week
- Generate SAP entries and create a master tracking sheet
- Resolve credit and debit issues to prepare for accounting software implementations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years' experience in the general area of accounting, with a focus on Accounts Receivable
- Experience investigating balance discrepancies
- Deep understanding of Cash Applications processes
- High level of experience using SAP is a MUST!
- Tech savvy with proficiency in SAP and MS Excel
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Experience going through a accounting system implementation is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel
