Our client is a pioneer in the harnessing of innovative technologies and is on an exciting international growth journey, scaling both organically and by acquisition . This global group enjoys an enviable reputation for innovation, is well funded and committed to continual investment in new product development and enjoys a strong EBITDA. They have a physical presence in Asia, US and Europe and plans are to continue to increase revenues by 20% YOY. Due to growth, and a secondary exit to a leading PE house, there is a requirement for an experienced Head of FP&A to build an FP&A function, supporting an experienced CFO. The role will suit an ambitious finance professional looking to progress to CFO and work with a talented leadership team.



Responsibilities:

  • Providing informative commercial analysis and insight to the leadership team in support of the Group’s KPIs, identifying risks, trends and opportunities for current and future performance
  • Building a best-in-class FP&A function
  • Implementing BI visualisation tools and driving their adoption Group-wide
  • Supporting the CFO and work closely with the Group FC and wider leadership team in the annual budgeting and periodic forecast processes
  • Providing commercial and financial analysis in support of new acquisitions and onboarding post-acquisition
  • Working on key global projects across the business
  • Oversight of Sales Pipeline, alongside Sales Director, to maximise revenue


Person specification:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) or MBA
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience of working in a commercial finance role, preferably with a strategic outlook.
  • The ability to see the big picture, look across the group but have the curiosity to drill down where necessary and question/challenge
  • Ability to work with non-finance and credibility to build strong working relationships with the wider senior management team,
  • Comfortable and experienced using and manipulating bigdata sets, highly proficient using Excel and good working knowledge of BI visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau)
  • Ability to model complex financial scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills and capable of influencing at all levels of management (including non-finance)
