Vaco has engaged with a real estate organization in Northern Scottsdale looking for their next Accounts Payable Supervisor, who will be responsible for the oversight of up to 10 Accounts Payable Specialists. This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and be part of a high-volume team of processors

Please note, this role will be based on-site - so all candidates who apply must feel compfortable working in office.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Daily supervision and support of Accounts Payable processing team
• Handle vendor escalations from team members
• Monitor workflow approval process to prevent payment delays
• Assist with workflow review as needed
• Review/recovery of duplicate vendor payments
• Reconcile stale dated check report
• Process weekly check disbursement
• Assist with implementation of process improvements
• Assist with hiring process
• Train and mentor new team members
• Assist with annual performance review process including review discussions with team members
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years, high volume AP experience
• Must have a minimum of 1 year prior AP Supervisory experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
• Must be able to thrive in fast paced, high volume environment
