Team: Group Property

6 month fixed term opportunity is available to work on a Technology Transition Program within Property.

The purpose of this role is to work with internal and external stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organisational context and complete business analysis activities, and ultimately elicit, document and manage the requirements throughout the initiative end to end, and other analysis activities such as understanding and writing business requirements, process mapping and change transition.

The Tech Transition/Business Analyst is to communicate these requirements to key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the project's or program's objectives and benefits.

Analysts deeply understand the business environment to refine requirements to increase the quality and efficiency of the solutions being delivered by the squad. Analysts translate business problems into user stories or acceptance criteria, getting to the heart of customer needs

What a typical day might look like
  • Supporting Group Property existing technology stack and relationships
  • Supporting ADF and Technology documentation requirements as part of a technology transition
  • Work closely with Group Technology specialist roles, ADF processes and external stakeholders to gather and collate documentation, supporting the project process and enterprise risk framework
  • Defining and development of business requirements that is fit-for-purpose and acceptance criteria for business requirements that is fit-for-purpose
  • Performing current / as-is state and future state analysis in order to support the project
  • Ensuring that requirements are managed in compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Working in collaborative teams to explore business initiatives


What will likely be in your toolkit?
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Technology systems, integrations and transition requirements
  • Experience with tools such as, Confluence, Jira, SaaS, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • You'll need to be comfortable in our fast-paced culture where you'll be exposed to many stakeholders across ANZ
  • Super curious, you proactively look for work and love solving complex problems with technology solutions.
  • An enthusiastic can-do attitude, and willingness to help the squad deliver
  • Validating requirements and priorities with squad's product owner to ensure delivery of value

  • Business Analysis - Translating business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact
  • Data Analysis - Translating data into insights and using it to make better business decisions and to deliver customer/user centric solutions
  • Quality Assurance - Ensuring the quality and viability of working solutions through quality practices and rigorous testing with a customer centric focus
  • Understanding of business & technical landscape
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the business, it's customer related business drivers
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the technical systems that support the business
    • Knowledge of ANZ ADF Framework is seen as advantageous
  • Analytical Thinking
    • Good analytical thinking skills
    • Ability to adopt a functional decomposition approach to analysis elaboration
  • Communication & Facilitation Skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate business analysis outcomes
    • Ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholder groups
  • Elicit business and solution requirements to translate customer needs & business goals
    • Ability to prepare for and conduct elicitation using a broad range of innovative elicitation practices, and techniques
    • Ability to verify, validate and communicate requirements with stakeholders
    • Ability to understand and document current and future state
