Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will provide finance support to the Subscriptions team for News Corp Australia (NCA). As the Commercial Finance Manager you will partner with the business in identifying Revenue opportunities and risks, modelling and developing new product initiatives aligned with our strategic direction to drive long term profitability.

What's the role?

• Provides commercial insight into subscription revenue and is responsible for driving product profitability.
• Business Partnering senior management stakeholders and driving commercial understanding in the business.
• Finance lead on key consumer initiatives aligned with our strategic direction to drive long term profitability and secure investment for growth.
• Provide commercial thought leadership that can be leveraged across the marketing, pricing and data analytics teams.
• Develop robust business cases for new product development.
• Contribute to the development, engagement and progression of members of the wider finance team.
• Ad-hoc work as required.

Who are you?

• Qualified Financial Professional with 7+ years experience
• High impact self-starting individual, resourceful and solution-driven.
• Stakeholder engagement and sound presentation skill
• Strong commercial acumen
• The ability to interpret and convert complex data requests into prescriptive and actionable insights for a non-financial audience.
• Proactivity delivering data driven financial insights and recommendations
• Experience in managing and influencing multiple stakeholders.
