FINANCE PARTNER - TECHNOLOGY & PRODUCT

We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, adaptable, and super passionate individual to join the finance team that supports the Technology & Product Tribes at Spark. Auckland based, you will be working in a dynamic and evolving company, responsible for supporting the business in decision making, tightly managing costs, and improving data analysis and processes.

About the role/team:

We support labour and opex for the Tech & Product tribes and are building strong stakeholder relationships and working with them to lift business performance to meet stretch targets.

About the role:
  • You will be a key finance partner in the Tech & Product chapter responsible for financial support, analysis and reporting to your business partners
  • Provide an interlock role with other parts of the business and their finance teams, to understand demand for labour & opex, and ensure we plan appropriately
  • Streamlining forecasting models, and working with other business areas to collect inputs for modelling costs, and communicating forecasts clearly back to stakeholders
  • Adhoc reporting and analysis to support decision making, projects, and maintaining spreadsheets and system reports used for executive reporting
  • Provide clear and simple messaging
  • You will have many opportunities for adhoc analysis and projects

What you'll need:
  • You have energy, a positive attitude, are a fast learner, and take responsibility for your deliverables
  • You have an ability to build strong working relationships and credibility with your stakeholders
  • You have strong data analysis and systems skills, and enjoy process improvement
  • You have studied/received a tertiary qualification in the field of accounting, ideally CA qualified, and have 3+ years' experience in a large and fast paced environment
  • You have the right to permanently live and work in NZ
