What are we looking for?

We wish to recruit students to work in the following discipline at our Basildon head office and plant, for 12 months, starting in July - August 2023:

Finance

Working alongside our Financial Controllers, you will develop your critical analysis skills by assessing the reliability and compliance of our financial results and by supporting us in our financial audits. You will learn the budgeting and forecasting activities for our products, how to manage accruals and will often liaise with other commercial departments to support decision making with facts and figures.

Basic Function:

Assist and support the Financial Controller on:

Discount Management for New Vehicles

• Month end, ensuring that vehicles have the correct accruals against them

• Assist in discount analysis and discount reserve evaluation

• Ensure discount control system functionalities to be fully in place and correctly working (DTS, sales programme and marketing campaigns)

Financial results reliability and compliance:

• Reconcile between SAP and HFM and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and rectified

• Assist in Flash preparation

• Ensure correct compliance to CNHi policies

• Support internal and external audit

Commercial Business Support:

• Weekly scorecards and KPI’s to management
• Monthly overheads report package to management
• Ad-hoc analytical support to support management in decision making
• Budget and forecast activities for New Vehicles

Job requirements and qualifications:

• University degree in economics/finance or equivalent

• Good/advanced excel skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve

• Confident working on systems (SAP, Hyperion/Oracle etc)

• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player

• Fluency in English
