Essential Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to general ledger
• Provide monthly reports comparing actual results to budgeted projects and notating budget variance
• Processing AP/AR checks and vouchers, posting month-end journal entries
