The Accounts Payable Processor will prepare and maintain records of amounts owed and ensure prompt payment of invoices. They will processe and verify invoice coding of expenses, review documents for accuracy and follow compliance with organizational policy and regulatory guidelines including proper authorization, documentation, general ledger coding, correct amounts, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages vendors
  • Validates GL coding
  • Educate employees and managers on AP systems and policies (e.g., Concur, PeopleSoft)
  • Collaborates with Corporate Systems to maintain AP systems (e.g., Concur, PeopleSoft)
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports as required
  • Identify and communicate systems needs and enhancements
  • Ensures compliance with applicable AP and expense policies
  • Ensures compliance with applicable internal and external policies, procedures and regulations (e.g., UHG expense policies, tax authorities, regulatory agencies and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations)
  • Ensures compliance with applicable control requirements
  • Leverages tools, resources and available information to detect potential fraud and takes appropriate action

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • 3+ years of experience processing Accounts Payable or working in Accounts Payable
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP Concur
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience in: reconciliations, analysis, financial statements, accounts payable processing, vendor management, etc.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with financial/data applications and General Ledger software

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $18.17 to $32.26. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $20.00 to $35.53.
