Job Details

We are looking to add a strong Assistant Controller who will be responsible for assisting the Controller with supervising the accounting operations of the organization. This positions will serve as an integral part of the financial health of the organization. The Assistant Controller will be required to help the organization with strategic financial decisions through forecasting reports and financial statements. They will oversee maintaining accounting records and manage the accounting operations of the organization.

Must be capable of working independently and with the utmost integrity. Assure rigorous adherence to company and regulatory guidelines and provide assistance to the accounting department.

The Assistant Corporate Controller oversees consolidation, period end journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable and accruals, account reconciliations, month end close, internal management report etc. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA or MBA highly desired
7+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting
Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Has the ability to interact with all levels of management
Experience analyzing large amounts of financial data
Must have demonstrated presentation skills and able to easily present financial data in a clear and concise manner
Strong systems background
Excellent organizational skills
