Growing pet supply company headquartered south of Denver is looking for a strong Interim Controller to assist their team!

About the Interim Controller role and Company:
- Mostly remote (in-office one day a week and a dog-friendly office!)
- The Interim Controller role will supervise an accounting team of 4.

Interim Controller Duties:
- Oversee day-to-today accounting activity
- oversee, direct and review month end close and financials
- reconciliations for 40-50 accounts
- financial statement preparation in accordance to GAAP
- maintain the general ledger

Interim Controller Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a Controller role with direct reports
- accounting degree preferred
- supply-chain experience is a plus!
- strong Excel skills (pivot tables and Vlookups)
- hands-on management style and strong communication skills

Hours for the Interim Controller are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 (with flexibility) in a business-casual and dog-friendly environment. In-office one day a week, and off at 3pm on Fridays!
