Responsibility
1. Analysing Past Performances of Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds
2. Analysing Past Financial Performances and Projected Financial Models of Startups to evaluate the future growth trajectory
3. Interviewing Start-up Founders, Fund Managers and Sector/Industry Experts
4. Dissecting the annual reports of unlisted companies
5. Financial Ratio Analysis, Valuation of Shares – DCF methodology
6. Risk Return Modelling using Logistic Regression / Decision Tree algorithms to predict Net IRR in best-base-worst scenarios
7. Studying market research reports on various sectors and emerging technologies
Profile Requirements
1. CIMA, BTech & MBA (Business) or CIMA, CA/CFA (Financial) with prior knowledge of Data Analytics with min. experience of 2 years
2. 1-3 years of prior experience in Venture Capital or Private Equity
3. Experience in the technology sector would be preferred
4. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis, R, Microsoft PowerPoint, and SPSS.
5. Demonstrated passion for Investing
6. Self-motivated with an ability to work in ambiguity with minimum supervision
7. Strong analytical skills
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Strong financial modelling and presentation skills
