The opportunity:
Reporting to the Category Manager, this is a terrific opportunity into the world of category management. Your core function will focus around product support for our branches and a big part of this involves preparing and facilitating vital product master data, so a keen eye for detail and meeting precise standards & deadlines is a must. You will be a key liaison point with both our store teams, suppliers and other internal stakeholders, so you will need to be a confident communicator, demonstrate strong written & verbal communication skills along with a customer-centric way of responding to people. From a day to day perspective your role will be heavily involved with pricing, reporting and supplier performance and prior experience in Category management an or a similar industry is preferred.
This role requires previous experience in data analysis and reporting as you monitor and analyse monthly reports, assist with range reviews and manage all supplier price increases for the team. You will know your way around a spreadsheet and you will feel comfortable getting your head around systems quickly and looking for ways to be more efficient.
