Hutcheon Mearns have been exclusively engaged to support an organisation in the public sector to recruit a part-time Payroll Assistant to join their team in Aberdeen. This role will involve being primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the payroll, whilst also providing support to the wider office where required. You will also be responsible for managing staff pensions and ensuring the pension portal is kept up to date. Based on North Deeside Road, our client is offering hybrid working and flexibility around hours.

The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience and a good working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll. There may also be a need to support the wider finance team so experience in purchase and sales ledger processing would be an advantage. Applicants must have excellent IT skills and be able to work to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
