Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the month end, forecast, budget and 3YP process
  • Support the harmonisation of activities and processes within your area of finance to ensure a consistent function led approach. Working in close collaboration with FP&A and to ensure consistency and commonality across the regions
  • Support the development of KPI and reporting packs (working with the FP&A team) to enable functional business partnering and monitor cost base performance
  • Providing world class business partnering to the Director, COO and the FP&A finance team
  • You'll lead financial support and analysis for operations cost base
  • Driving a culture of cost efficiency across all business areas within role remit
  • Supporting and driving a culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory frameworks; ensuring adherence to governance mechanisms for investments and capital expenditure
  • Promoting a culture of risk awareness, control focus, and 'doing the right thing'
  • Supporting specific adhoc project activities
  • Providing direction to your team, developing their cultural awareness and understanding of company strategy
  • Coach your team and drive high performance and personal development at all levels
  • Deliver innovative and creative engagement solutions to create a cohesive and change ready community
  • Accelerate a data driven and data led decision making approach and create the environment and culture to enable continuous improvement in the operations with a focus on value and efficiency
  • As a people manager, you'll be expected to champion and promote collaboration in person and virtually

Candidate Profile:
  • Experience qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA
  • European university degree in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling, and several years of experience working in finance/controlling
  • Some team leadership experience and experience in setting and achieving strategic objectives and in supporting colleagues across all functions
  • High intellectual capacity
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop great working relationships internally and externally
  • Able to produce and deliver high impact presentations of key performance information to all levels of the business and the ability to develop great working relationships internally and externally
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral)
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-channel consumer environment
