Accounts Assistant - Permanent - based in Leighton Buzzard

Salary 28k-35k

Purpose of Role:

Responsible for all financial day to day transactional operations as well as finance reporting and preparation of management accounts. The position is very hands on.

Raising of all Company Purchase orders.
Compiling & processing of Weekly wages.
Bank Reconciliations for multiple accounts.
Supply chain management - Setting up of new supplier and Maintaining relationships.
Processing Supplier Invoices.
Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
Raising & resolving Supplier invoice quires.
Assisting with Month end and year end processes.
Updating and tracking weekly site paperwork.
Assisting with annual financial Audit
Ad hoc assistance as required.
Skills

AAT, CIMA, ACA or ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified
Familiar with financial processes and procedures from start to finish
Ability to work within a pressurised environment
Person Specification:

Working or worked in a similar position for an SME
Essential Skills:

A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Process oriented with the ability to see a task through to completion.
A team player who works effectively with others
Working Hours:

08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
