OUTREACH is a UK-based digital talent agency. We launched our talent division of the business in 2021 and are growing quickly - our talent’s reach spans 30M+ followers.

As such, we are looking for accounts and administrative support and are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join the team.

You’ll be supporting the daily financial operations of the growing business and the role will primarily focus on accounts receivable, reconciling staff expenses, bank account reconciliations and preparing/issuing monthly reports.

The role will report directly to the Founder/Director.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Accounts Receivable - ensuring the timely and accurate production of Outreach invoices and their supporting data
  • Carry out credit control functions, monitoring and resolving any queries and investigating overdue payments
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping to ensure the smooth running of the finance side of the business
  • Daily auditing of the CRM system (monday.com) and accounts system
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Reporting on client/talent accounts
  • Corporate credit cards - processing of transactions
  • Travel and Entertainment expenses
  • Checking VAT receipts and VAT returns
  • Staff payroll (monthly)
  • Talent (content creators’) payroll (monthly)
  • Manage any supplier set-up requests
  • Provide suggestions for improving efficiency within the financial runnings of the business
  • Liaise with the Talent and Partnerships team with regards to outstanding and overdue invoices yet to be sent, payment queries, client information
  • Liaise with Accountants for year-end reporting
  • Financial analysis as and when required


ABOUT YOU:

  • A minimum of 2 year’s experience in a finance assistant/bookkeeper role
  • Expert experience using Xero is essential
  • Experience using Monday (monday.com) is extremely advantageous
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, processes and procedures
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Adaptable self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects and talent simultaneously with a persistent and determined attitude
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
