I am working with a fantastic company who have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a leading health care company in Manchester. With fantastic reputation and growth strategy they have created this new position to support the Financial Controller.

Working as part of a cohesive and driven team you will enjoy a varied remit of financial accounting, supporting the Financial Controller. You will assist with specifics regarding Treasury, cash flow, as-well as a varied role being customer facing, keeping things exciting and having opportunities to build on your already credible skill set.

You will ideally be making your first step from a role in practice and have recently completed a professional papers to become part qualified in ACA or ACCA.

You will:

• Prepare all monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for all group companies.
• Input daily banking transactions and prepare weekly bank reconciliations for all group company bank accounts.
• Assist the Financial Controller with the annual audit of all group companies.
• Maintaining and updating cashflow forecasts for all group companies.
• Updating and maintaining Fixed Asset Registers for all group companies.
• Liaise with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Managers at month end to ensure all relevant balance sheet control accounts are appropriately reconciled.
• Provide ad-hoc reports and supporting schedules for the Financial Controller as and when required.
• Manage cash flow & treasury
