Our client is a growing company who has thrived over the past couple of years. As such, they are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join their finance team as a finance assistant.

This is a varied role where you will be required to support the Financial Controller in their daily duties. Typical day-to-day tasks will include:

• Processing of the end to end of the purchase ledger invoicing process
  
• Processing of the sales ledger invoicing and managing any queries
  
• Bank Reconciliations
  
• Monthly nominal ledger reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
  
• Monthly reconciliations of the control accounts
  
• Expense claims and company credit card management
  
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
  
• Process foreign payments monthly to suppliers
  
• Assisting with cashflow forecasting for the managers
  
• Bookkeeping
  

To be eligible for this role, your background should include:

• Broad experience gained within a busy accounts department
  
• Knowledge of purchase or sales ledger routines
  
• Assisting with company payroll
  
• Use of popular accounting packages such as Xero, Sage, or Quickbooks
  
• Data analysis
  
• Use of Microsoft Office applications - particularly Excel.
  

Due to the varied nature of this role, you should be capable of juggling tasks and performing under pressure. You'll also need to be a confident written and verbal communicator with a keen eye for detail and a strong team ethos.
