We are recruiting for a Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team based from our Chorley office. The role is full time and permanent and will be a mix of working from home and from the office in Chorley. Salary from £21,000.00 - £28,000 depending on experience and skills.

Responsibilities
- Produce, develop, and post journals for all accruals and prepayments.
- Involvement in production of monthly management accounts.
- Support on Balance Sheet reconciliations identifying any Risks and Opportunities.
- Invoice management resolving queries in coding and Parked and Blocked Reports.
- Adhere to month end deadlines ensuring accuracy of ledger postings.
- Monthly analysis of key accounts and provide correcting reconciliations.
- Support Management Accountant in monthly P&L and Balance Sheet calls.
Skills & Experience
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Knowledge of Project Accounting
- A minimum of 2 years in a finance role
- Experience of outsourced project-based industries or construction/utilities
- Part Qualified in CIMA/ACCA or QBE
