We are recruiting for a Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team based from our Chorley office. This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a challenging role where you will make significant impact and benefit from career development. The role is full time and permanent and will be a mix of working from home and from the office in Chorley. Salary from £21,000.00 - £28,000 depending on experience and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Produce, develop, and post journals for all accruals and prepayments.
  • Involvement in production of monthly management accounts.
  • Support on Balance Sheet reconciliations identifying any Risks and Opportunities.
  • Invoice management resolving queries in coding and Parked and Blocked Reports.
  • Adhere to month end deadlines ensuring accuracy of ledger postings.
  • Monthly analysis of key accounts and provide correcting reconciliations.
  • Support Management Accountant in monthly P&L and Balance Sheet calls.

Skills & Experience
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
  • Knowledge of Project Accounting
  • A minimum of 2 years in a finance role
  • Experience of outsourced project-based industries or construction/utilities
  • Part Qualified in CIMA/ACCA or QBE
