Astute Recruitment has an amazing opportunity for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk with a thriving company which is based near Mackworth in Derby.

They are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to work on a 9-month contract initially to cover maternity leave.

Responsibilities would include:

• Overseeing the companies purchase ledger processes
• Assisting the current Purchase Ledger Clerk
• Making sure the weekly payment runs are ready
• Making sure general day to day running of the purchase ledger is running smoothly and identifying any discrepancies with the vision of rectifying as soon as possible
• Liaising with people throughout the business if there is a back log of invoices
• Further ad-hoc duties that may arise

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent attention to detail and highly organised, a confident and clear communicator. Has experience with dealing multiple companies, someone who can work from their own initiative, but also as a team as well as individually.

This is an office-based position 5 days a week, with the hours of work being 08:45 am - 17:15 pm.

You will receive a salary of £25,000- and 25-days annual leave plus bank holidays.
