The Route Performance Analyst is key in providing critical business insights to support the Freight Revenue Management System and the revenue growth required to support the Freight business strategy in this domain.

The analyst will work with multiple stakeholders across the business including Global Sales, Revenue Management Team and IT, to provide the analysis and reporting required to drive improvement in revenue across all Freight Sales regions

In this role you will be responsible for forming route strategies to identify and capitalise on long term opportunities; maximising route profitability through revenue generating measures whilst maintaining customer satisfaction. Facilitate the end-to-end process of implemented strategies, including an audit on outcomes to report to management. Lead the development of high quality, accurate analysis of high value, high impact insights for inclusion in various senior management forums. Recognize anomalies in complex data, formulate hypotheses and undertake complete analysis. Review existing processes & performance of business segments and impact on the Group portfolio and make recommendations accordingly.

You'll have:
  • 3+ years' experience in an analytical role
  • Master's degree, in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or another applied quantitative discipline.
  • Relevant experience in the airline, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to synthesize complex situations, formulate solution sets and present results in simple, understandable terms
  • Working knowledge of Statistics and forecasting techniques; interest in optimization problem-solving, economic game theory, elasticity, and consumer buying behaviour
  • Proven scientific revenue management experience, with current experience within an airline Revenue Management function an advantage
  • Resilient to change, challenges and setbacks
  • Self-starter; able to work in a high-pressure analytical environment, with changing priorities and tight deadlines, applying sound business judgment
  • Refined skills with MS Office; familiarity with software programs used in conducting quantitative analysis (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python)
  • Strong communications skills; ability to communicate, collaborate and cooperate across teams
