Assistant Management Accountant/Analyst

Hope Cement Works, Derbyshire


Breedon are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant/Analyst to join our Finance team based at Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire.

Key

Responsibilities:

Sales Reporting

  • Prepare Daily Sales Volumes report and issue to key Stakeholders.
  • Prepare Weekly Sales Report for Divisional FD.
  • Produce sales information statistics for 3rd parties.

Production & KPI Reporting

  • Update the production book on a weekly & monthly basis. Ensure all stock records balanced and reconciled.
  • Ensure goods inwards databases are accurately maintained.
  • Provide Logistics Team with self-billing reports.
  • Prepare Monthly KPI report for Works Manager.

Carbon Reporting

  • Provide production data to the Environmental Team for Carbon Reporting.
  • Provide information to External Verifier.

Capex Reporting

  • Balance Capital Ledger on a monthly basis to each Project Cost Card.
  • Produce Monthly Group Capex Report.
  • Capitalisation of completed Projects.

Cost Reporting

  • Produce monthly cost reports to Budget Holders for Production & Maintenance Departments.
  • Carry out Cost/Benefit Analysis.

Management Accounts

  • Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts - Preparation of accruals & prepayments and other month end information.
  • Prepare stock journals for review.

Other Duties

  • Provide support to Accounts Assistant & Transactional services as and when required.
  • Provide information to internal & external auditors.
  • Attend year end stocktake.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Advanced Excel Skills including Visual Basic.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Used to dealing with large data sets.
  • Manufacturing Experience desirable.
