The Accounts Administration AssistantRole

Accounts and Administration Assistant. Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working closely with the rest of the team members, the person holding this role will be responsible for various accounting, logistical and administrative duties.

What You’ll Do

•Update and maintain financial records and assist in preparation financial reporting

•Match, check and code invoices

•Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details

•Perform supplier statement reconciliations and send remittances for payments

•File invoices

•Assist in process & system changes to streamline existing processes / systems

•Data entry

•Schedule payments

•Handle reconciliations of suppliers and other general ledger accounts

•Create and process invoices using an automated system.

•Manage debtors ensuring adherence to both the company’s and customers’ processes and systems

•Manage internal orders, inventory and records

Assist in customer order fulfilment activities including deposit settlements

•Liaise with suppliers, ensuring deadlines are met

•Perform other office administration activities as required

What You’ll Need

•Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures

To be a strong communicator with the ability to express yourself clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

•To show maturity and proactivity to get the job done efficiently with a consistently high-quality output

•To be a self-motivated person, who is very capable of working on own initiative but also enjoys working as part of a team

•A can-do attitude, a desire for continuous learning and a drive to see yourself and the team succeed

Full-time, Permanent, 8.30am - 5.00pm - Monday to Friday, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
