After a truly successful start to the year, there has never been a more exciting time to join our company. Lookers are one of the top automotive retailers in the UK, and as such, we need the UK's top talent. We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our hard working team in Teesside Audi

Our Assistant Accountants are primarily responsible for producing timely and accurate financial information and reports across a number of our busy Audi division. They work alongside the wider finance team to ensure the upkeep of sub ledgers, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and calculate and communicate costs redirected from Head Office departments to other areas of the group.

It is the role of our Assistant Accountants to provide ad hoc financial information and analysis, as well as assisting with both internal and external audits.

About you

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience in a similar role. You will be an analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail.

You will have excellent communication skills and be at ease building relationships with key stakeholders across the business. A strong desire to provide exceptional service is a must.

Detailed knowledge of accounting and IT systems is essential for this role.
