About the role

Make a difference with one of NZ's largest Product Development teams. Spark's Product Chapter Area is driving a change in how we understand and deliver outstanding journeys for all our customers.

As a Business Analyst/Change Management Lead (or Product E2E Specialist as we are known in Spark), you will be focused on in-depth digital development and delivery of Spark products and services. You will help deliver and optimise brilliantly designed customer experiences whilst using your Business Analysis and Change Management skills and experience to deliver seamless, frictionless journeys., You will be a critical thinker and the translator of our customers' needs to (and from) our channels; along with providing clear and unambiguous requirements to our technical teams. You will use data to inform decisions and follow an initiative from ideation to delivery.

The craft and expertise you will bring
  • Confident facilitation skills: workshop planning, process design and requirements elicitation
  • Analysis skills to identify opportunities to remove points of friction for customers; reuse and standardise existing technology and processes; and enable our channels to deliver a seamless journey and winning customer experience
  • Understanding and experience in customer journey mapping
  • Ability to influence teams and key stakeholder decisions by presenting design options and process alternatives along with their business and customer impacts
  • Ensure the requirements of all relevant stakeholders are recognised through analysis, design and align to customer journeys for delivery within the Spark Agile customer experience & product framework
  • Previous experience in interviewing customers and creating wireframes would be desirable
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly and succinctly through all levels of the organisation and cross-functional teams, often challenging traditional views or methods
  • Minimum 3 years of technology experience, delivering business and customer outcomes
  • Understanding of Agile principles and/or previous experience working in an Agile environment would be desirable
