Finance Assistant
Salary:
Competitive Salary (£18,278 - £20,368 per annum)
Hours: 37 hours per week

What will a ‘typical’ day look like?
Take ownership of processing invoices we receive from suppliers
Ensure that invoices are cleared for payment by checking against purchase orders
Taking pride in ensuring invoices are coded and entered onto our Sage accounting package correctly
Pull together the information for a payment run to pay suppliers
Maintain direct debit paperwork
Help our Claims team with the documentation they need to give to funders
Process credit card, prepayment card and petty cash transactions and proactively chasing up queries and receipts
General filing and scanning and any other special finance tasks that crop up
What do we need from you?
Experience of working in a finance role
Good technical experience of excel and an accountancy package, preferably Sage.
Keen to study AAT or perhaps have already made a start
Be a great communicator
Well organized and can meet realistic deadlines
Genuinely want to do your best – pride in being accurate
Not afraid to ask if you’re not sure
Work well with others
