What you will be doing 

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Financial Controller which will enable you to practice Financial Tools (SAP) and develop a deep understanding of Financial Processes. You can expect to be involved in the following;  

• Financial Planning, Forecasting and Reporting for Operations perimeter, which are the plants or the Final Assembly Lines

• Drive performance management and improvement

• Propose mitigation actions if needed to support discussions and decision making at Management level.

• Controlling the recurring and non-recurring costs of a dedicated perimeter: plants, final assembly lines.

• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data on performance against budgets/targets highlighting discrepancies and risks & opportunities.

• Contribute to earned value management when required and contribute to cash planning.

• Ensure timely and meaningful planning & reporting (OP, Forecast process)

• Establish consolidated financial reporting (define, harmonize and ensure consistency and compliance, incl. tools).

• Represent Finance in routines and regular meetings in your area of responsibility

What we look for

To be a successful applicant to this position on the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you need to be able to demonstrate;

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
• Maximum of three years relevant work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

What you will need to apply

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study - Master Degree in Finance (Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Corporate Finance)

Specific experience or interests

• Strong interest in Commercial Aviation
