A fast-growing last mile delivery business Although its a small business, the environment is fast paced, with many things on the go and a culture of doing things right the first time.The position is based at its largest branch, Witbank but will service all three branches in Mpumalanga.The individual needs to be a self-starter, be able to work independently with very little supervision and exceptional attention to detail
· Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
· Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
· Petty cash processing and reconciliation
· Debtors, creditors and suspense account reconciliations.
HR Administration
· Creating and maintaining employee records
· Updating databases internally, such as sick and annual leave of staff
· Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides
Appropriate post-matric qualification in Bookkeeping
More than five years experience in the field of bookkeeping to trial balance
Financial literacy and analytical competence
Excellent computer skills particularly Microsoft Excel.
· Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
