An exciting opportunity has arisen in Newton Property Management's head office, based in Glasgow city centre. Newton are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our busy finance department.


The main duties include (but are not limited to):


  • Processing high volume of invoices each day
  • Reconciling contractor statements
  • Dealing with a high volume of customer queries (calls & emails)
  • Entering Direct Debit payments
  • Scanning and auditing batches of invoices


The successful candidate must possess the following qualities:


  • Must have direct experience working in a purchase ledger role
  • Highly organised and able to plan their working week
  • Ability to meet monthly deadlines
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using CPL software is beneficial, but not essential
