The following vacancy has arisen in our busy accounts department;

Accounts Assistant 37.5hrs PW Salary £22.5k

Main duties

• Process large quantities of goods for resale invoices and credit notes
• Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve discrepancies arising between invoices and purchase orders
• Identify payments receipted into the bank and post to the relevant customer accounts
• Process journals
• Categorise and assist int the control of email inboxes
• Open and distribute daily post.

Essential skills

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills.

Confident using computerised systems. Must be confident using Excel.

Excellent time keeping

Desirable Skills

Six months experience in an accounts role
