At Care South we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance Team at our Head Office in Poole, Dorset.

This role is offered initially as FTC to cover maternity, 9mths with the possibility of extension
Full Time - Monday to Friday (possible flexibility for less hours/ days depending on workload)
Competitive salary - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience

Key duties as a Management Accountant would include:

Managing the process of preparing timely management accounts for the Business.

Responsible for the co-ordination, management, and ongoing support to members of the finance team ensuring achievement of the team's targets

Record accurate and timely transactions on our accounting system

Maintain good working relationships and providing excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders

Assisting with the annual budget & audit process.

Preparation of monthly management accounts for the business. This includes the following:

Oversee all month end processes within the team and ensure deadlines are being met
Consolidate and review monthly accounts, departmental reports, and regulatory reporting on financial performance
Accruals / prepayments
Reconciliation of control accounts
About you:

You will have previously been in a management accountant role or have equivalent experience
You will need good experience in working with Microsoft Excel
Experience working with Access Dimensions (or equivalent accounting system)
Actively studying or achieved AAT desirable
Excellent communication and customer service skills
