Sf Recruitment are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant in Derbyshire for a temporary 3 month basis. A great opportunity for someone looking to further their experience working with SME in the manufacturing industry.

As an Assistant Management Account you will be an essential member of the finance team supporting the finance manager. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding and experience with the Month end process.

Main

Responsibilities:


assist in the production of monthly management accounts.
assist in the production of the Trial Balance and supporting documents.
oversee from a financial perspective the creation of fixed asset and development proposals; ensuring they are appropriately calculated and recognised in a timely manner.
Data entry of monthly information into the group financial reporting tool
assist in the preparation of the annual budget
assist in the preparation of the semi-annual statutory reporting pack, the annual tax pack and prepare an audit file for the external auditors.
prepare the VAT return
Tmaintain error free financial models.
liaise with and support the Management Accountant, Finance Controller and Finance Director.
ensure the systems and procedures within the department are sufficient in order for the department to successfully complete its function and to ensure internal and external audit requirements are met.
aid the Management Accountant with other reporting requirements as required.
provide coverage for the Accounts Assistant role wherever required.

The ideal candidate will be AAT/CIMA part qualified and have a full understanding of reporting and budgeting. I am keen to speak to anyone that is immediately available or coming to an end of a contract
