The Role:

Finance departments are central to businesses understanding whether the activities they carry out are successfully delivering what was intended. So, it's essential that the picture presented is accurate and based upon great financial information.

As a Finance Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of financial support ranging from transactional processing to assisting with month end duties for our group of dental practices.

There will be a great deal of interaction with the practices as this role is focussed around ensuring that you are supporting them fully. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be confident, approachable and have a passion for helping people.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

* Ensuring day-to-day accounting operations and financial management functions are performed in compliance with policies and procedures;

* Ensure that all accounting data is updated, reconciled and fully supported

Responsibility will be for:

* Dentist pay and Payroll duties

* Purchase Ledger

* Banking and Treasury

* Assisting the Management Accountant in month end duties

* Assisting in statutory accounts and audits

* Improvement projects

Whilst there are no management duties currently, as the business expands it is expected that this role will include this in the near future.

The successful candidate must have:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA or working towards (essential)

* Willingness to work as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills

* Competent in Excel

* Management experience (desirable)
