An excellent opportunity has arisen at a NHS organisation for an qualified Finance Manager to play a key leadership role in one of the business partnering divisions at a leading London hospital.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the post will be responsible for managing a small team which provides accurate and timely financial reporting and support to the business partnering division. Key to the role will be to provide leadership, direction and advice to ensure the efficient financial management of the division; and support the development and implementation of its strategy and financial plans for sustainability. This is an important role in ensuring that a joined up service is provided across the division.

You should be a qualified accountant with experience of working in financial management roles, which includes leading reporting and change initiatives, business case development and financial planning. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills are important and you will need to demonstrate the ability to clearly present complex financial or business ideas in an appropriate way for the audience. Preferably you will have experience of providing financial support in a clinical environment, but exposure to large, complex, public sector organisations will be very helpful to this role as you will need to apply your strong analytical skills to complicated situations in order to arrive at a solution.
