Our client are a well known PLC, with a fantastic reputation and finance team in place. They are now looking to appoint an Acquisitions Finance Manager to work closely with the Finance Director. Offering flexible working and incredible career progression, this is a unique opportunity that can offer strong exposure within some very senior areas of finance.

As the Acquisitions Finance Manager, you will be supporting the Head of Tax and Finance Director with financial due diligence, acquisition accounting and coordinating the valuation of intangible assets.

You will also be heavily involved in integrating new business propositions and working closely with the finance teams in the new businesses to ensure the correct policies and financial controls are in place.

You will have the opportunity work closely with the Head of Corporate Finance, to understand operational plans for the business and ensure these are aligned to the integration strategy.

If you are considering applying for this role then you will need to meet the following criteria to be considered:

- A newly qualified accountant with experience in reporting complex technical data in a format that can be understood by business stakeholders
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
-Some business partnering experience would be desirable
- Experience of operating financial controls within a complex business environment
