Our clients are a leading, local employer and due to growth within the business they are now looking to recruit a AAT Qualified/ part ACCA/CIMA qualified management accountant to join the team based in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.
Main
Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming accounts calls
* Use our Accounts system Xero & accompanying reporting software Fathom
* Extracting information from internal systems, producing summaries and monthly variance reports
* Preparing weekly stock journals and performing weekly stock reconciliations
* Assisting with the monthly reporting process to ensure accurate and timely data is provided, this will include profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations
* Bank reconciliations and completing daily tasks including reporting within financial deadlines
* Participation in projects and contribute with perspectives on profitability and other matters as may be appropriate from time to time
* Other administration tasks which may arise on an ad hoc basis.
Skills and Attributes:
* Must be friendly, outgoing and calm
* Must have an exceptional and confident telephone manner and attitude towards customers and clients
* Must have a positive and relaxed nature
* Solid computer skills
* Experience in an all-round accounts role, preferably including practice experience
