Compensation and Benefits Analyst

£65,000 DOE + Bonus

1-1 Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our client’s ever- expanding company, as part of their small team in Basingstoke. The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for Compensation and Benefit related projects to deliver Compensation and Benefit related services to assigned business organisations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pay and benefits benchmarking activities, including job matching, job evaluation, benefits renewals, partnering with consultants/brokers to review costs, risks, opportunities, and performance of benefits. You will also analyse and assist in developing salary structures. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position, offering a competitive salary (dependent on experience).

KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits, US Compensation Team and/or HR Business Partners/HR Managers, to deliver compensation services, ensuring adherence to policy and practices
  • Manage and assist with compensation-related projects, including European survey submissions and compensation studies (e.g., salary structure development and implementation, acquisitions, re-organizations, job family hierarchies, merit, bonus, car allowance/company car programs)
  • Models’ costs and employee impact analysis, and driven implementation of approved changes
  • Evaluates positions for grade placement, based on the content of the job and various salary survey sources, ensuring that all relevant factors have been addressed. Compare jobs internally for internal equity and make recommendations for grade level changes
  • Educates and informs the organization about compensation policies and practices and makes recommendations based on internal and external sources/best practice
  • Compiles, analyses, and interprets data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness and makes recommendations
  • Conduct periodic audits of Compensation data to ensure accuracy and compliance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Experience of Job evaluations
  • Knowledge of Radford
  • Knowledge of Towers Watson
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Experience working across Europe
